Another fatal shooting in NW Houston

About the same time, police in northwest Houston made a similar discovery. Residents at the Pine Forest Place apartments on Deep Forest near Pinemont say they heard several gunshots coming from the parking lot. When they went to investigate, they found a man slumped over in his car, shot to death. An unknown black male was seen running from the scene and getting into a waiting vehicle which then fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The male victim, 34, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives suspect robbery may be the motive in this case. That gunman also remains on the loose.

Anyone with information about either of these cases is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
