A deputy fractured his ankle when the suspect ran over spike strips he was laying down in the Willis area. The suspect's car got a flat and he ran into the woods at Longstreet off I-45. He peacefully surrendered minutes later.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX
It started around 4:15 this morning along the North Freeway and Rankin, when deputies in Harris County responded to a welfare check. The suspect took off, and at one point, reached speeds of 120 miles per hour.
