Family OK after car crashes into house

HOUSTON State troopers say a vehicle was going too fast on Rose Road near County Line when the driver lost control. The vehicle slammed into the Stepp family's home, actually hitting their son's bedroom.

The driver had to stay in the vehicle until rescuers arrived. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition and has not yet been identified.

The vehicle might have gone farther into the house if it had not hit the home's raised foundation.
