Steen was initially arrested on allegations of filming an adult in April at the Odessa salon. Police found a video that depicted a teenager, which led to the federal charge.
Steen's attorney, Dan Cogdell, told the Odessa American that he will appeal the conviction after sentencing.
Steen has also been indicted on state charges -- improper visual recording -- involving two women he allegedly filmed at the salon.
