Driver killed in accident with garbage truck

HOUSTON Police say a pickup truck was going at a high rate of speed on Spring Cypress near Mission when it hit the garbage truck. The dumpster truck was blocking all the westbound lanes of the street in order to pick up a dumpster.

The pickup driver was taken to Northwest Houston Hospital where he later died. No charges have been filed at this time.
