Benefit being held for injured firefighter

HOUSTON At last check, Thomas Shuster is still in critical condition. Investigators say the volunteer Cy-Fair firefighter was hit by a drunk driver Monday in northeast Harris County. Shuster's fellow firefighters organized today's benefit in order to raise money for his medical expenses.

It will be held from 8am until 8pm at fire station 8 on FM 529 West near Barker Cypress.
