"Reckless Robber" strikes again

HOUSTON This is the 12th area bank robbery believed to have been committed by the disguise-wearing robber, who earned his moniker by the dangerous way he points his weapon at customers and tellers.

In today's robbery, "Reckless" entered the bank carrying a bouquet of roses and a gift bag. As he neared the teller counter, he pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and ordered everyone to the floor. "Reckless" threatened customers and tellers alike, and handed the gift bag over the counter, demanding cash.

He was seen leaving the area in a white van headed north on Cutten Road.

"Reckless Robber" is described by witnesses as a white or Hispanic male, 35-40 years old, 5'10" to 6'tall, medium build, olive complexion. He was wearing a black wig and a fake black mustache.

The Crime Stoppers reward has been enhanced with funds from the Texas Bankers Association, bringing the amount to up to $10,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of "Reckless Robber."
