Police standoff ends peacefully

HOUSTON It started around 11:30pm when a woman called police to a mobile home on E. Anderson near Elise on Houston's south side. An officer saw the woman fleeing the home and approached her and then her husband came out and fired his shotgun. No one was hit.

The man ran back inside and locked the door. A few hours later he surrendered to a SWAT team.
