Local student competes in National Spelling Bee

BRAZORIA COUNTY, TX Aditya Chemudupaty, 12, earned his way to Washington by winning the Houston Spelling Bee in March. Today, he's one of 293 spellers taking written spelling tests in D.C.

He's hoping to land a spot in the finals to be broadcast right here on ABC13 Thursday night.
