Small plane crash leaves one dead

WALLER COUNTY, TX [SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

They spotted the wreckage early Sunday morning in the woods a few miles south of Houston Executive Airport.

The pilot has not been identified. Authorities say he was the only one in the experimental plane.

The NTSB is investigating.
