Animals rescued from Montgomery Co. garage

The animals were quickly taken to an SPCA facility where vets evaluated the medical conditions of the animals. SPCA workers say 27 dogs and several cats were discovered inside the garage, kept in small filthy crates, locked for several hours.

Authorities are investigating the Montgomery County owner of the animals.
