The Montgomery County Health Department says it's testing three possible cases of swine flu. Two of the patients are students at Glen Loch Elementary in The Woodlands, so Conroe ISD is closing the school until May 11th.

The Houston Independent School District is planning to reopen Hamilton Middle School Monday. It had closed with the threat of swine flu, but HISD says the health department has now cleared Hamilton.

Cy-Fair ISD officials have announced they are closing Horne Elementary effective immediately. The campus will be closed Monday, May 4, 2009 until Monday, May 18, 2009. This recommendation was made due to a highly probable case of the H1N1 virus (Swine flu) in a Horne Elementary student.

Other schools are also taking steps to prevent swine flu. The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston announced a probable case of the virus at Saint Anne's Catholic School in southwest Houston. The archdiocese says the school on Westheimer near Shepherd will be closed until Thursday.

And Lamar Consolidated ISD just told us they are closing Bowie Elementary for the upcoming week due to swine flu.
