Killer gets life in prison

A hurricane evacuee accused of killing a Pasadena woman who took him in is going to prison, after pleading guilty to capital murder.[SIGN UP: Get headlines and breaking news sent to you]

Jimmy Le was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 2005 murder of Betty Blair. Blair befriended Le, Stephanie Jacabo and Roosevelt Smith after fleeing hurricanes Rita and Katrina. They were living in the elderly woman's home when she was murdered.

Roosevelt was found guilty and sentenced to death. Jacabo will go on trial next month.
