Investigators say the suspect was trying to break up a fight at the Pandora Club near downtown Houston overnight. Several other men held him back, and he started swinging around to break free. That's when he says he accidentally punched the officer.
The suspect ran off and was stunned with the Taser after a short chase. Police say they found drugs on him.
The officer was treated for a cut on his hand.
