Around 3am, police tried to pull over a suspect in a Jeep in southwest Houston. The driver hit a curb at Bellaire near Fondren while going too fast and popped two tires. He tried to drive through a field but got stuck and was arrested.
A few other men in a Cadillac were following the officers during the chase. They were also arrested for a possible connection to the suspect. Police have not said what the investigation involved.
