Firefighters were called out to the home on Autumn near Laura Koppe just before 1am. They found heavy smoke and fire shooting out of the home. It took more than 30 minutes to tap out the blaze because a narrow staircase made it difficult to get equipment up the stairs.

The homeowner did make it out safely.
