Biden swings by "The Tonight Show"

LOS ANGELES, CA Appearing on "The Tonight Show," Biden told host Jay Leno that McCain "seems a little more angry than he usually is." And he says he doesn't think McCain "is comfortable with the negative stuff in the advertising" being run by his campaign.

Biden made a brief stop on Leno's show on his way to a fundraiser in Los Angeles. The two chatted about the economic crisis, the Iraq war and developments on the campaign trail as Election Day closes in.

Asked about Biden's claim that McCain seems a bit cranky, a McCain campaign spokesman replied, "John McCain is a fighter."
