Man found hanging in bedroom

HOUSTON The victim, Joshua Metheny, 33, was found hanging in a residence around 4am Saturday. According to police, Metheny was homeless and had recently moved into the apartment on Pecore with a female friend. The two were in a romantic relationship.

Metheny was found hanging in the bedroom of the couple's apartment in somewhat suspicious circumstances. The investigation into whether this incident could involve foul play is continuing as investigators await autopsy results.

The Harris County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy to determine his cause of death.
