The event is designed to familiarize incoming students with the campus and allows them to network with fellow NSM students, faculty, staff and representatives of student organizations and student services. It also will provide a venue for students to learn how to get involved in the college.
Free pizza, a DJ, volleyball, video games and an appearance by Shasta, the UH mascot, also await attendees.
"Our goal in creating Frosh Frenzy is to ensure that our incoming students feel welcome on campus, have a positive college transition experience and enjoy overwhelming academic success by being connected and aware of resources available to them," said Dawnelle Prince-Parks, director of undergraduate recruitment for NSM. "In the long term, activities like this should lead to increased student retention and future successful, loyal alumni."
