Toddler dies in tragic accidental drowning

HOUSTON The boy's mother returned to their home near West Road and Telge from an all night church function and fell asleep with the toddler in the living room. She told deputies when she woke up, she couldn't find him, until she went in the bathroom.

She called 911, but the boy died at the hospital. Investigators don't suspect any wrongdoing.
