Man accused of assault tries to flee police

HOUSTON Authorities say a woman pointed to a man in a car, saying he assaulted her. Officers then tried to pull him over, but the man took off. Just 10 minutes later, the suspect crashed into the corner of a Family Dollar store on Mainer and Scott.

He's now recovering at the hospital, waiting to face charges.
