'Bonnie and Clyde' wanted for robbery

BAYTOWN, TX Crime Stoppers and Investigators with the Baytown Police Department are asking for the public's help for any information leading to the identification, arrest or charging of a male and female suspect in the July 24, 2008 aggravated robbery of the Airwood Grocery Store in the 2500 block of Park Street in Baytown.

Around 6:30pm, a male suspect entered the store with a female accomplice and demanded money from the store clerk. The male suspect pointed a large handgun at the clerk and shot him in the upper left arm. The suspects stole the cash register, with an undisclosed amount of money in it, and drove away from the store in a 2002 white Toyota Sequoia with Texas license plates 839-KMY. The Sequoia had been reported as stolen from Houston.

The male suspect is a white male and he was wearing blue Nomex coveralls with a camouflage Astros hat and he had a goatee. The female suspect is a white female with a slight build and dark hair. Both are considered armed and dangerous.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information phoned in to the Crime Stoppers 713-222-8477 (TIPS) hotline that leads to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect in this case. All callers remain anonymous.
