Man pulled over with gator due in court

Back in April, a state trooper pulled William Johnson over for making an illegal U-turn. Imagine his surprise when he saw the gator stretched out near the back window.

Johnson told troopers that he saw the gator along the road and decided to pick it up. He planned to release the animal at a friend's farm.

Johnson is charged with burglary of a habitation.
