Passerby discovers body on side of roadway

HOUSTON The driver spotted a body lying on the side of Cullen and Kennedy Heights. Police were called and they believe the person was the victim of a hit-and-run driver.

Police say the victim was in his mid 20s. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.

There were no known witnesses.
