Officer's weapons missing after carjacking

HOUSTON Police recovered Officer Kendrick Morris' green Dodge Magnum around 4am near Finnegan Park in east Houston. But officers did not find Morris' pistol, Taser and handcuffs.

Sunday morning, someone carjacked Morris at a stoplight at the Eastex Freeway feeder and Lyons in northeast Houston. Morris was not hurt.

Police do not know who stole the car and the officer's weapons.
