On Friday, a judge handed down a 99-year jail sentence for a man accused of murdering a star high school football player. Emile Lewis was convicted yesterday of the murder of Herman Mitchell in August of last year. Investigators say the two got into a fight, then Lewis left and returned with a gun. Mitchell was shot 5 times and killed.

He was a star linebacker for the Westfield Mustangs and had a verbal offer to play for the University of Oklahoma.
