Residents try to battle apartment fire

HOUSTON The flames broke out at the Sage Meadows Apartments on Telephone Road near Drouet. Residents tried to put the fire out with an extinguisher. However, the flames spread too fast and the residents had to flee the building.

The fire department later tapped out the blaze. No one was hurt.
