Cause determined in alleged food death

We've learned a Houston man who died last week did have the strain of salmonella which has been seen in the outbreak involving tomatoes, but that's not what killed him. We first told you about RC Rivera Friday on Eyewitness News. His family says he became sick after eating pico de gallo at a local restaurant. The health department is saying the salmonella didn't kill him, but it did contribute to his death.

He died from lymphoma.
