Aldine ISD in the running for $1M prize
HOUSTON Every year, the Eli and Edith Broad Foundation give away a $1 million to a school district which shows academic progress. Aldine ISD is one of five finalists for that prize -- for being a finalist. The district will receive at least $125,000 in scholarships.
