A big rig lost its load of animal guts along the Eastex freeway feeder road at Cavalcade around 11:15pm. The westbound lanes of Cavalcade were shut down.
Officials believe it was about 4,000 gallons total that spilled. Crews are working to scoop up all that animal waste.
The truck also knocked out traffic signals in the intersection. The truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital. There is no word on the truck driver's condition.
