No death penalty for girl's accused killer

Prosecutors in Galveston have decided not to seek the death penalty against Royce Zeigler -- the man charged with killing a little girl who stole the hearts of a lot of people on the island and around the country. Her tiny body was found in a plastic container in Galveston Bay. She was known as Baby Grace before being identified as two-year-old Riley Ann Sawyers. Prosecutors are not convinced they can persuade a jury that Zeigler, and his wife - Kimberly Ann Trenor - will be a future danger to society. They are basing their decision on a different case which was overturned on appeal.

Trenor is expected in court Thursday.
