The victim, a 27-year-old mother of four, is now confined to a wheelchair and unable to speak. She was present for Balderas' sentencing.
Drunk driver forced to face victim
HOUSTON Jorge Balderas pleaded guilty to intoxication assault with a vehicle and was sentenced to 10 years.
The plea stems from an accident back in November on Highway 290.
