Horns held to two hits as Nebraska wins

Thad Weber pitched a complete game two-hitter for Nebraska, which shut out Texas 2-0 on Saturday. Weber (5-1) struck out five and walked two.

Mitch Albeita and Craig Corriston both had run-scoring hits for the Cornhuskers to break a scoreless tie in the sixth inning (21-3-1, 7-0-1 Big 12). Albeita led Nebraska with two hits.

Austin Wood (2-2) took the loss, surrendering two runs on six hits over 6 1/3 innings. He struck out one and walked two.

Michael Torres and David Hernandez each had a hit for Texas (17-8, 4-4), accounting for all the Longhorns' offense.
