The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. He will be tested to see if he was intoxicated.
Driver in collectible car slams into tree
HOUSTON Police say the 67-year-old man was speeding along Gessner near Briar Forest in a 1962 Corvette convertible classic. When he tried to make a right onto Briar Forest, he lost control, jumped a median, and slammed into a tree. The car nearly split in half.
