Tires blow on plane landing at Bush Airport

HOUSTON Continental spokeswoman Susannah Thurston said passengers had to be taken by bus to the gates but there were no injuries and no emergency evacuation was necessary. She said the plane did not have to make an emergency landing.

The flight from Oklahoma City landed about 6 p.m. Thursday at Houston Bush Intercontinental Airport. The plane carried 113 passengers and a crew of five.
