Hines actually built the tower in 1982, but right now it's owned by an Atlanta based holding company. The deal includes the nearby water wall, park and parking garage.

HOUSTON Hines Real Estate Investment Trust is finalizing a deal to buy the 65-story Williams Tower for $271 million. The company told Eyewitness News the deal should close on May 1.
