DALLAS, Texas (KTRK) -- An Amber Alert issued for 3-year-old Chasity Collins was cancelled Wednesday after police said she was located safe.

The alert was originally issued after police were told she was inside a car when it was stolen in Dallas, Texas.

Around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Chasity was in a white 2009 Lincoln 4-door MKZ sedan when it was taken.

Authorities didn't provide any information about what happened with the Lincoln or any suspects that may have been involved.

Amber Alerts are issued when authorities have reason to believe a child is in grave or immediate danger.
