AAMA's board members have a warm farewell for their retiring President/CEO

HOUSTON -- AAMA's Tacos y Tacones Gala Kick Off was a chance for board members and supporters to say congratulations to AAMA President and CEO Bea Garza on her recently announced retirement.

The Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans, AAMA, was founded over 40 years ago to help Latinos achieve their potential.

AAMA's George Sanchez Charter School motivates at-risk youth to finish school and go to college. Sanchez serves students in pre-kindergarten and 7th- 12th grades.

Their mission is to inspire and empower Latino youth to achieve success through education, workforce readiness and leadership development.
