Can you feel the love? Amazon ranks most romantic cities

You can cut the sexual tension in San Antonio with a knife, at least based on what San Antonians are buying on Amazon.

The online retail giant recently analyzed purchasing data across the country to determine which American municipalities are the most romantic, and our neighbors to the south topped the list.

The following cities rounded out the top 20:

1. San Antonio, Texas
2. Miami, Florida
3. Alexandria, Virginia
4. Orlando, Florida
5. Salt Lake City, Utah
6. Knoxville, Tennessee
7. Cincinnati, Ohio
8. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
9. Atlanta, Georgia
10. Ann Arbor, Michigan
11. Columbia, South Carolina
12. Vancouver, Washington
13. Gainesville, Florida
14. Seattle, Washington
15. Scottsdale, Arizona
16. Tampa, Florida
17. Las Vegas, Nevada
18. Portland, Oregon
19. Rochester, New York

Worth noting: Philadelphia -- which translates literally to 'city of brotherly love' -- didn't make the list at all.

In creating the list, Amazon examined who was buying romance novels, relationship books, romantic comedy movies, romantic music and -- of course -- "sexual wellness products".

There is one piece good news for hopeless romantics in Houston: Space City was among the cities that streamed the most love songs on Amazon Music. Some of the most requested romantic songs tunes "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran, "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston and "Ring of Fire" by Johnny Cash.
