It happened at around 5am outside the Pal Gym in the 2900 block of Southmore. Police say two vehicles pulled into the parking lot and one person from each of those vehicles began fighting.
During the fight, Deroderick Jackson was stabbed and taken by Life Flight to the hospital, where he died.
The suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Jeremy Ray Lozano. He is in custody, charged with murder.
