Investigators in Conroe are searching for two men who barged into an apartment, robbed the people inside, and made them all take off their clothes before getting away.

Leaving their victims naked allowed the the suspects to make a getaway, and it worked.

Just before midnight, someone knocked on the door of this apartment, ran off then kocked again. When the door was opened...

"Two black males with bandanas pushed their way into the apartment," Conroe Police Department Sgt. Dorsy Riddle said.

Five people were inside the apartment, including one who is said to have slept through the robbery. Two of the residents were struck by the robbers. Then police say the pair searched for things to take.

"The suspects then entered the bedroom, where the the male and female subjects were, and demanded money and cellphones and took those items," Riddle said.

At that point, police were told the suspects prepared to leave, but not before they...

"Demanded all of them to take their clothes off and then ran out of the apartment," Riddle said.

For reasons still unclear, police say they were not notified about the robbery for two hours.

Anyone with infomration about this case is asked to contact police.
