Police release sketch of sex assault suspect

Detectives have released the sketch of a man who sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint in northeast Houston last month.

Authorities say around 1:20am on June 22, a woman was walking along the 2600 block of Milwaukee when a man approached her and forced her into his dark blue Ford Expedition. The man took the victim to a nearby lot, where he held a knife to her throat and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a black male, between 30-45 years of age, standing approximately 5'8"-6'0" tall and weighing from 220 to 250 pounds. The suspect is described as bald, with very short hair on the sides.

At the time of the offense, the suspect drove a 2000-2002 blue Ford Expedition with distinctive 20-22" customized chrome wheels and tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
