John David Boyle, 49, of Glendora, was arrested Wednesday. Boyle, a teacher at Royal Oak Middle School, met with an undercover agent in his classroom on Sunday, allegedly to have sex and watch child pornography, officials say.
Investigators say Boyle chatted online with the agent, whom he believed shared his interest in boys. According to detectives, his online accounts, including his Skype account, indicate he has had sexual contact with minors.
Boyle has a bond hearing scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
Detectives believe there may be unknown victims of child molestation by Boyle. Anyone with information was asked to call Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations's tip line at (866) DHS-2ICE.
