Austin police say the gunfire happened Tuesday night in two different apartments. Police are trying to determine what led to the shootings that left one victim dead at the scene.
A man who was shot in the head has been transported to an Austin hospital. His name and further details on his condition weren't immediately available Wednesday.
The name of the slain man also has not been released.
