Crews are vacuuming water from Houston's downtown library after a plumbing problem.

The city says a pipe burst on the third floor around 5pm Thursday.

The library closed early to clean up the flooding. The water did not damage any books.

The library is not open on Fridays. No word on whether it will be ready by Saturday.
