Police: Three people shot during fight in SW Houston

HOUSTON

It happened around 10pm at the Pradera condominiums on Club Creek near Country Creek. According to police, there was some sort of fight that led to the shooting. But it's still unclear if this is gang-related or if the shooter knew his victims.

Right now, investigators are interviewing witnesses to learn more about what exactly happened. Police aren't releasing much on the three victims shot until their families are notified because of their very young ages. However, they did give an update on how each of them is doing.

"One is in critical condition. The other one is stable and we have one that is going to be just fine," said J.R. Johnston with the Houston Police Homicide Division.

Houston police say the victims are identified as Alvin Foley III, 18; Jordan Sampson, 17; and Prince Fair, 18; all of Houston. Foley suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition. Sampson and Fair also suffered gunshot wounds and were transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in unknown conditions.

Police say the shooter was among a group of four of five men. That shooter apparently took off on foot, heading north from the scene. One of the suspects is described as having a light complexion with freckles and was wearing a white hat and black shirt. Another suspect is described as wearing a black hat and a gray shirt with art work on the front.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
