HOUSTON

Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies say Johnathan Charles Simmons, 22, was taken into custody at about 1:15pm Thursday at a house located in the 12200 block of Ormandy in Houston.

Authorities are still looking for three other suspects who were involved in the two robberies. One of those suspects has been identified as Ashley Ann Jackson, 22, of Houston.

On October 3, deputies say Simmons, Jackson, and one other suspect are believed to have robbed the Capital One Bank in the 23900 block of Westheimer Parkway in the Katy area.

According to the Ft. Bend Co. Sheriff's Office, Simmons and Jackson plus two other suspects are connected to a second bank robbery that occurred on Oct. 6. In that case, four suspects entered the IBC Bank in the 10500 block of State Highway 6 South at West Bellfort near the Mission Bend area.

In both cases, deputies say the robbers rushed into the banks brandishing handguns and demanding cash.
