Under the Fort Bend ISD rezoning plan, hundreds of students from Lake Colony, Heritage Colony and Riverstone would move from Clements to Elkins High School. The Fort Bend ISD board of trustees plans to take action on the proposed zoning changes at its March 7 meeting.
Parents plan protest over Ft. Bend ISD's rezoning plan
FT. BEND COUNTY, TX
Three neighborhoods -- Lake Colony, Heritage Colony and Riverstone -- plan to hold a protest today from 2pm until 3:30pm.
They'll rally in front of Highway 6 in Sugar Land at the entrances to Lake Colony and Riverstone.
Parents and students held a similar protest last month.
