Williams was taken to Hermann Hospital. Hospital staff has reportedly said he's not expected to survive his injuries.
Thompson faces a felony charge of aggravated assault. Bail has been set at $30,000.
Allegations of window peeping lead to shooting
HOUSTON
The confrontation took place at an apartment complex in the 13000 block of Bissonnet on Wednesday.
According to court documents, a man reportedly told David Thompson that another man, Darrell Williams, had been looking at women in their apartments in a peeping Tom manner. This witness told deputies that Thompson went to confront Williams. Williams reportedly begged for Thompson not to hurt him, as Thompson allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Williams in the head at point blank range.
