They're accused of desecrating graves and now police need your help putting some metal thieves in jail. Investigators say they've identified a group of people involved in last month's theft of 400 brass vases from Brookside Cemetery. More than 300 of the vases were recovered at a scrap metal dealer on Wallisville. The dealer traced the vases back to seven people.

"They made it their business to steal from the dead and to victimize some families once again," said Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia. "I want these people in jail, and I want your help to put them in jail and they can take a look at all the metal they want. It'll be bars."

The suspects are identified as Shannon Tucker, Doyle Glover, Lloyd Petty, Daniel Stevens, Crystal Nichols, Tawny Watson and Robert Conley. If you have any information about them, you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
